By entering Apex Dance Awards, you agree to the Apex Dance Awards Rules & Regulations, the Apex Dance Awards Registration Terms & Conditions, and the Apex Dance Awards General Terms & Conditions.
Where a dance teacher accepts these terms on behalf of their students, it is the responsibility of the dance school/teacher to obtain permission from the student and/or their parent or legal guardian.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This document sets out the Terms and Conditions that apply to registration with Apex Dance Awards and forms a binding agreement with the named individual.
Terms and Conditions of Registration
Apex Dance Awards Limited reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any material changes will be communicated to registered dance schools and or individuals within a reasonable timeframe. Applications from new registrations will be processed as promptly as possible.
Apex Dance Awards Limited accepts no liability for any injury, damage, or loss, however caused, arising from participation in Apex Dance Awards online and live events. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim, action, or dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, and each party irrevocably submits to this jurisdiction.
PRIVACY POLICY
Through the registration process, Apex Dance Awards Limited will collect the required personal data relating to the dancer and/or the dance school. We undertake to take all reasonable measures to protect this data while it is in our care.
When you register a dancer, we collect only the information necessary to administer their competition entry. We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as race, ethnic origin, or religious beliefs).
Marketing communications are based on dance school contact information only. We will not share a dancer’s personal data with third parties unless we have explicit permission to do so.

PERMISSIONS
By completing the dancer’s registration, the dance school and/or individual confirms that the dancer (or their parent/legal guardian if under 18) grants permission for Apex Dance LTD, or those contracted by Apex Dance Awards, to film and photograph the dancer.
The dancer grants permission for these images and videos to be used across Apex Dance Awards’ website, livestreams, social media platforms, and promotional materials.
Apex Dance Awards Limited may share dancer contact details with official sponsors. If the dancer or their parent/legal guardian does not wish for these details to be shared, they must notify Apex Dance Awards by email at help@apexdanceawards.com.
All dance activity is undertaken at the dancer’s own risk. Any injuries arising from participation are the sole responsibility of the dancer. Apex Dance Awards Limited accepts no liability for such injuries.
By completing the registration, the dance teacher/school agrees to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all registered students. It is the responsibility of the school/teacher to obtain permission from the dancer or their parent/legal guardian before submitting any registration.
REFUND POLICY
All online competition entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
For live events, refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Apex Dance Awards board. Refunds will only be granted in exceptional circumstances and are not guaranteed.
Apex Dance Awards Limited reserves the right to refuse any refund request once a registration has been completed, regardless of the reason.
CODE OF CONDUCT & DISQUALIFICATION
Any form of cheating, misrepresentation, or breach of competition rules will result in immediate disqualification with no refund. This includes, but is not limited to, dancers competing in an incorrect age category.
If music contains profanity or inappropriate content deemed unsuitable by the Apex Dance Awards judging panel, the judges reserve the right to disqualify or penalise the dancer.
Apex Dance Awards Limited is not obligated to provide explanations for judging decisions, disqualifications, penalties, or the outcomes of such actions, and no refunds will be issued in these circumstances.

CHILD PROTECTION & SAFEGUARDING
Apex Dance Awards is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all dancers, particularly children and young people. We take child protection and safeguarding seriously and expect all staff, judges, teachers, chaperones, and associated parties to uphold the highest standards of conduct.
Any concerns regarding a child’s welfare, safety, or wellbeing during an Apex Dance Awards event should be reported immediately to event staff or via email at help@apexdanceawards.com. Appropriate action will be taken in line with safeguarding procedures.
All dance schools and teachers are responsible for ensuring that dancers under the age of 18 are supervised at all times and that parental or guardian consent has been obtained for participation.
ACCESSIBILITY POLICY
Apex Dance Awards is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for all dancers, spectators, and staff. We aim to ensure that our events, venues, and online platforms are welcoming and usable for individuals of all abilities. Where possible, reasonable adjustments will be made to accommodate dancers or attendees with accessibility needs. Any specific requirements should be communicated in advance to help@apexdanceawards.com so that we can make appropriate arrangements.While we strive to provide accessible facilities at all Apex Dance Awards events, we cannot guarantee that every venue will meet all individual needs. Apex Dance Awards Limited cannot be held liable for accessibility limitations beyond our control.
CASH OR PRIZES
Winners are responsible for any taxes due in their country; Apex Dance Awards takes no responsibility for tax obligations.
